Trauma & Attachment Team

Trauma Informed Care trained Masters and Bachelors level providers utilize concepts and strategies from the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics and Collaborative Problem Solving to treat symptoms, behaviors, needs and dynamics that result from traumatic experiences and/or developmental trauma (disrupted or disorganized attachment in the formative developmental years of a child’s life) due to placement in foster care, abuse or neglect, medical trauma, caregiver trauma or substance use, etc.

This team of providers uses a collaborative, contemporary and holistic approach in individualizing a client’s treatment needs.

Trauma & Attachment Team

Collaborating team of Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists and Licensed Mental Health Counselors who have significant expertise in trauma and attachment. The team incorporates others specialized professionals to assist in developing the most effective and comprehensive individualized treatment approach.

  • Mindfulness and Regulation Group for kids and adults (a group designed to help participants regulate, cope and improve skills to tolerate distress, intense emotions and to be grounded.)
  • CPR-T Group (Child Parent Relationship Therapy - group designed to assist parents to build or rebuild a damaged relationship due to problematic behavior caused by trauma, attachment or other unmet needs.)
  • A Little R and R group (a group for adults who struggle with maintaining healthy and functional relationships due to a distorted core belief system developed from a traumatic or disruptive childhood.)
  • Trauma Focused CBT (A Cognitive Behavioral therapeutic approach to address trauma reactions and responses through thoughts, feelings and exposure.)
  • Play Therapy (Registered Play Therapy)
  • Theraplay (Child and Family therapy for building and enhancing attachment, self-esteem, trust in others and joyful engagement.)
  • Foster and Adoptive Support Group Services
  • Storm Survivors Group (Group for kids dealing with trauma from natural disaster.)
